Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) and the host Northridge Raiders (Middlebury, IN), saw Elkhart's soccer squad hold off Northridge by a count of 1-0.

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN). The Wildcats enter the Northern Indiana Soccer Conf battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, South Bend Riley tipped Lakeland (LaGrange, IN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Elkhart Central Blue Blazers (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Northridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
