The Wyoming Valley West Spartans soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Fair Lawn Cutters to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wilkes-Barre for a Wyoming Valley 1 bout on Tuesday, September 10. Wyoming Valley West will play a Wolfpack squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Fair Lawn moves to 0-1 on the year. The Cutters travel to West Milford (West Milford, NJ) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Monday, September 9. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
