West Virginia High School Soccer - Greenbrier East nudges Martinsburg

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Martinsburg Bulldogs.
The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Pocahontas County James Monroe (Lindside, WV), 3-3, in a league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Washington Patriots (Charles Town, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle outing, on Tuesday, September 10. Martinsburg will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 4-1 record after their 6-0 league win over Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV).
