Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) and the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), saw Hinsdale South's soccer squad triumph over Joliet Central by a count of 7-0.

The Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Argo (Summit, IL). The Argonauts enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Argo tipped St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Steelmen battle the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 9. Joliet Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Grant Park (Grant Park, IL).
