With the triumph, Verona advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Madison East (Madison, WI) to clash with the Purgolders in a Big Eight test on Tuesday, September 10. The Purgolders come into the test with a record of 5-0. Madison East won 5-2 in their recent league test against Madison La Follette (Madison, WI)

The Highlanders now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Bend West for a North Shore test on Thursday, September 12. Homestead will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Omro (Omro, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.
