The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin by Watseka (Watseka, IL), 6-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Grey Ghosts battle the Earlville Red Raiders (Earlville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 9. Illinois Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL).
