Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mascoutah moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Jersey (Jerseyville, IL) to meet the Panthers in a Mississippi Valley test on Tuesday, September 10. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Jersey lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL)

The Panthers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Intrinsic for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Von Steuben will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-2 league Chicago Mathematics & Science (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-0.
