The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Pueblo Central Wildcats (Pueblo, CO) and the host Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, CO), observed Pueblo Central's softball team get by Brighton by a tally of 8-1.

The Wildcats (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO). The Eagles go into the 4A South Central bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Pueblo East was routed by Lamar (Lamar, CO), 13-9, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 10. Brighton will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO).
