The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) and the visiting Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA), observed Tift County's softball team get by Haralson County by a tally of 5-2.

The Blue Devils (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region 1 bout with a 4-9 record. In their last bout, Richmond Hill was routed by Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 4-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 bout, on Wednesday, September 11. Haralson County will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 15-3 league win over Darlington (Rome, GA).
