Colorado High School Softball - Lamar bounces Pueblo East

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lamar Thunder softball team scored a tight 13-9 victory over the Pueblo East Eagles.
The Thunder (9-2) will now prepare for their match against La Junta (La Junta, CO). The Tigers go into the 3A Tri Peaks I match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, La Junta was routed by Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO), 10-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Pueblo Central Wildcats (Pueblo, CO) in a 4A South Central match, on Tuesday, September 10. Pueblo East will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 8-4 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO).
