The Palmer Ridge Bears softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Pomona Panthers to 4 in the Bears non-league win on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Discovery Canyon for a 4A Pikes Peak battle on Tuesday, September 10. Palmer Ridge will confront a Thunder team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Pomona moves to 3-5 on the season. The Panthers host Conifer (Conifer, CO) to confront the Lobos in a 4A Jeffco battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Lobos come into the battle with a record of 6-0. Conifer won 7-3 in their recent non-league battle against Arvada West (Arvada, CO)
