Arizona High School Volleyball - Anthem Prep over Ray

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ) and the visiting Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ), observed Anthem Prep's volleyball team top Ray by a count of 2-0.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, North Valley Christian Academy notched a victory over Empire (Tucson, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bearcats battle the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 7. Ray will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ).
