The Belvidere North Blue Thunder volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs to 0 in the Blue Thunder non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Thunder now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Freeport for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 outing on Tuesday, September 10. Belvidere North will play a Pretzels team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Pretzels record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Grant Community drops to 3-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 7. The Titans come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Boylan Catholic won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Freeport (Freeport, IL)
