Virginia High School Volleyball - Fredericksburg Christian over Bishop Ireton

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Fredericksburg Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Bishop Ireton Cardinals.

The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Stone Bridge beat Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) in a Washington Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Bishop Ireton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Tartans enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA).
