Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Brunswick advances its record to 11-5 on the season. The Pirates host South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to face the Mustangs in a 5A Area 1 South test on Tuesday, September 10. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 7-10. South Effingham won 2-0 in their recent league test against Statesboro (Statesboro, GA)

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appling County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Southeast Bulloch will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 9-6.
