The Cougars now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elgin for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Vernon Hills will face a Maroons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 0-4.
