Charles City Comets (Charles City, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Charles City improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Comets travel to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to face the Chickasaws in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Chickasaws go into the test with a record of 6-4.

The Cadets now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Edmond for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Iowa Falls-Alden will face a Gaels squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA). The Gaels record now stands at 5-2.
