In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sweetwater Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Christoval Cougars.

The Mustangs (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Coahoma beat Ropes (Ropesville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Veribest Falcons (Veribest, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Christoval will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Rochelle (Rochelle, TX).
