The Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) volleyball knocked off the host Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Parker for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7.

With the loss, Cibola drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Brawley (Brawley, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, September 9.
