Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC), observed Hoggard's volleyball team hold off Cleveland by a count of 2-1.

The Vikings (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge View (Columbia, SC). The Blazers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Ridge View was tipped by Westwood (Blythewood, SC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rams meet the Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 7. Cleveland will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Blazers enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Westwood (Blythewood, SC).
