The South Central Timberwolves volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Dighton Hornets to 0 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Timberwolves now have a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Spearville for a Southern Plains-Iroquois outing on Monday, September 9. South Central will play a Lancers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Pawnee Heights (Rozel, KS). The Lancers record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Dighton drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to LaCrosse (LaCrosse, KS) to play the Leopards in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. The Leopards come into the outing with a record of 1-5. LaCrosse lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Macksville (Macksville, KS)
