Michigan High School Volleyball - Lincoln over Edison Academy

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI) and the host Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI), observed Lincoln's volleyball team top Edison Academy by a count of 2-0.

The Railsplitters (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Eaton Rapids notched a victory over Jackson (Jackson, MI), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Cass Tech Technicians (Detroit, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 9. Edison Academy will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Technicians enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI).
