With the win, Umpqua Valley Christian advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Monarchs travel to North Clackamas Christian (Oregon City, OR) to face the Saints in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Saints go into the test with a record of 4-0.

The Greyhounds now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faith Bible Christian/Life Christian for a 2A Northwest test on Tuesday, September 10. Gaston will face a squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Mannahouse Christian Academy (Eugene, OR). The record now stands at 4-1.
