In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Knoxville Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Grand View Christian Thunder.
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Davis County was beaten by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Thunder meet the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 9. Grand View Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Norsemen enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Saydel (Des Moines, IA).
