The Heppner Mustangs topped the visiting Kennedy Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Vernonia Loggers (Vernonia, OR) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 7. Heppner will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record.
The Trojans (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mannahouse Christian Academy (Eugene, OR). The enter the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Mannahouse Christian Academy was beaten by Faith Bible Christian/Life Christian (Aloha, OR), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
