Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) and the host Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA), observed Moses Lake's volleyball team hold off Hermiston by a tally of 3-2.

The Mavericks (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Othello (Othello, WA). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Othello was tipped by West Valley (Spokane, WA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Kamiakin Braves (Kennewick, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest, on Tuesday, September 10. Hermiston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
