Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Iowa Valley Tigers (Marengo, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nevada improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Cubs travel to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to face the Plainsmen in a test on Saturday, September 7. The Plainsmen go into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Tigers now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keota for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Iowa Valley will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Highland (Riverside, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
