Illinois High School Volleyball - Joliet Central can't get by Oak Forest

Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Oak Forest improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Bengals travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL) to face the Chiefs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 3-2. Deer Creek-Mackinaw won 2-0 in their recent league test against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL)

The Steelmen now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crete-Monee for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Joliet Central will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Argo (Summit, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
