The Morton Potters volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Kankakee Kays to 0 in the Potters non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Potters now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Champaign Central for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 7. Morton will clash with a Maroons team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Kankakee drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Kays travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL) to clash with the Boilermakers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10.
