West Virginia High School Volleyball - Musselman tips Lanier

September 7, 2024: Inwood, WV 25428

The Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) volleyball held off the visiting Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Applemen now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Mills for a Eastern Panhandle bout on Tuesday, September 10. Musselman will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to University (Morgantown, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Lanier drops to 20-6 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Gainesville (Gainesville, GA) to clash with the Red Elephants in a 5A Area 7 bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Red Elephants come into the bout with a record of 11-8. Gainesville lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Milton (Milton, GA)
