Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lumpkin County improves its record to 7-15 on the season. The Indians travel to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to face the Purple Hurricanes in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Purple Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 8-12. Monroe Area lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Athens Academy (Athens, GA)

The Rams now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Social Circle for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Newton will face a Redskins squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Eastside (Covington, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 6-7.
