In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host McMinnville Grizzlies volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Woodburn Bulldogs.

The Grizzlies (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tigard (Tigard, OR). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Tigard beat McDaniel (Portland, OR), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Woodburn will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Eugene (Eugene, OR).
