The Comets go into the game with a 2-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL).

The Titans (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Blue Bullets go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Knoxville gained a win over Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
