In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Valley Vikings volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Nampa Bulldogs.

The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Murtaugh (Murtaugh, ID). The Red Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Murtaugh was tipped by Oakley (Oakley, ID), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Nampa will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Diggers enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID).
