The Regal Gryphons (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Los Angeles, CA). The Barristers enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Marshall got by Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cougars battle the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 7. Ventura will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Toreadors enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Grant (Van Nuys, CA).
