New York High School Volleyball - Oneonta Smithtown East

Smithtown East Bulls (Smithtown, NY) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Oneonta Yellowjackets (Oneonta, NY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Smithtown East advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulls travel to Mount Academy (Esopus, NY) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-0. Mount Academy won 3-0 in their recent league test against Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY)

The Yellowjackets now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Susquehanna Valley for a Section 4 Southern Tier test on Tuesday, September 10. Oneonta will face a Sabers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Owego Free Academy (Owego, NY). The Sabers record now stands at 0-1.
