In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Owatonna Huskies.
The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record.
Next, the Huskies meet the Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Owatonna will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN).
