In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Schurr Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pasadena Bulldogs.

The Spartans (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Chiefs come into the non-league challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Santa Fe lost by Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Flintridge Sacred Heart Tologs (La Canada-Flintridge, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 9. Pasadena will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Tologs come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Buckley (Sherman Oaks, CA).
