In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pennfield Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans.
The Panthers (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mendon (Mendon, MI). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Mendon beat Union City (Union City, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Thornapple Kellogg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, MI).
