The Defenders (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (La Palma, CA). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Kennedy notched a victory over Valencia (Placentia, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Fullerton Indians (Fullerton, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 9. Valencia will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 10-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA).
