The Yuba City Honkers volleyball squad (Yuba City, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA)

With the win, Wheatland improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7.
