Bethlehem Central Eagles (Delmar, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Notre Dame Academy Gators (Staten Island, NY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Bethlehem Central moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY) to clash with the Flying Dutchmen in a Suburban Council- Blue test on Tuesday, September 9. The Flying Dutchmen come into the test with a record of 1-0.

The Gators now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dominican Academy for a NYC CHSAA Division 1 outing on Monday, September 8.
