Connecticut High School Football - Glastonbury knocks off McMahon

September 8, 2022: Glastonbury, CT 06033

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT) and the visiting McMahon Senators (Norwalk, CT), observed Glastonbury's football squad thwart McMahon by a count of 22-13.

The Guardians now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Hartford for a Central Connecticut - Tier 1 contest on Friday, September 16. Glastonbury will play a Hornets squad coming off a 48-13 league loss to Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Senators play the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) in a Fairfield County - East contest, on Friday, September 16. McMahon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 31-0 non-league win over Xavier (Middletown, CT).
