In Thursday's non-league game, the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) football team were victorious over the host Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME), by a score of 31-0.
The Crusaders (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Poland (Poland, ME). The Knights come into the D game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Poland knocked off Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME), 22-0, in a league game.
The Coyotes now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Foxcroft Academy for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Old Town will meet a Ponies team coming off a 28-27 league win over Winthrop/Monmouth Academy/Hall-Dale (Winthrop, ME). The Ponies record now stands at 1-0.
