Alabama High School Football - Piedmont prevails Plainview

September 8, 2022: Piedmont, AL 36272

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL) and the visiting Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL), observed Piedmont's football squad defeat Plainview by a count of 34-21.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ohatchee for a 3A Region 6 contest on Friday, September 16. Piedmont will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 42-14 league loss to Sylvania (Sylvania, AL). The Indians record now stands at 0-4.

Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Glencoe Yellowjackets (Glencoe, AL) in a 3A Region 6 contest, on Friday, September 16. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 43-10 league loss to Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL).
