In their next game, the Bluebirds face the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 15. Highlands will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 14-0 league win over Campbell County (Alexandria, KY).

The Camels (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Covington Catholic was toppled by Cooper (Union, KY), 20-7, in a non-league bout.
