The Athenians now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Lafayette Central Catholic for a non-league test on Monday, September 12. Crawfordsville will meet a Knights squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN). The Knights record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Bethesda Christian drops to 3-4 on the season. The Patriots host Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN) to meet the Cougars in a Pioneer test on Saturday, September 10. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-4. Greenwood Christian Academy lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Park Tudor (Indianapolis, IN)
