In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting East Islip Redmen soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Harborfields Tornadoes.
The Redmen (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Amityville Memorial (Amityville, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 11 B/C/D-7 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Amityville Memorial was nudged by Hauppauge (Hauppauge, NY), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
The Tornadoes (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Deer Park (Deer Park, NY). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Deer Park nipped Kings Park (Kings Park, NY), 2-1, in a league battle.
