The crowd at Thursday's league test between the East Ridge Pioneers (Chattanooga, TN) and the visiting Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN), saw East Ridge's soccer squad knock off Sequatchie County by a count of 2-0.

The Pioneers now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Red Bank for a AA District 8 test on Tuesday, September 13. East Ridge will meet a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Hixson (Hixson, TN). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Sequatchie County drops to 2-3 on the season. The Indians host White County (Sparta, TN) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 12. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-5.
