The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Central Eagles (Pageland, SC), observed Piedmont's football squad defeat Central by a count of 42-16.
The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Parkwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 15. Piedmont will play a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 49-12 non-league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 1-3.
